The answer to the above question will be a decision that each individual must answer themselves. Yes asking a realtor will be very beneficial but making sure that the desicion will be yours is crutial.
As we notice the market is very difficult to understand at the moment but never the less looking around never hurts because when the right house comes along, you should be ready. Make sure you speak to a mortgage advisor for your new purchase and if you are looking to sell, then you should be aware of what is out in the area you are interested in.
I always tell my clients when its the right property then it will work out, yes its been a struggle but being positive will be very helpful.
